This time it is Chethana Ramesh's debut novel- The Blue Phoenix



I would like to quote a line from one of my earlier story - "The strength of a woman lies in her grit and determination".That is Neela for you. Vulnarable yet confident. Simple yet courageous.

I always find those book more enticing where the main lead is a woman. Strong women are not born but are created by circumstances.

This book is a love story with a twist.

Read it, Bookshelf it and Enjoy it.

Book Review of Daastan-e Tawareekh

  Book - Daastan-e Tawareekh Written By - Damodarlal Garg Dastaan-E-Tawareekh is a collection of 21 short stories and anecdotes from Indian History. Its written in Hindi and talks about some undisclosed aspects from history wrt the culture, some unique traditions that once prevailed in India and the neighbouring countries. The stories capture the rise and fall of kingdoms, human emotions like love,lust, jealousy and competition. The stories also talk about how humans can turn ungrateful and unfaithful and then destroy themselves. There is also a pinch of sarcasm that the author adds in these stories. Some stories that I liked: Amavasya ke din Poornima Ka Chand Vichitra Riti-Riwaz Bundel ka nayak Hardoula Premika ki yaad mein basa Hyderabad Mewar ka Bheeshm-Rajkumar Chudaji I looked for more information on this book, but could find a single mention of the same anywhere on internet.
